On Wednesday night, Hillary Clinton appeared on an episode of Comedy Central’s Broad City. The show stars Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer and is produced by Amy Poehler. In the episode, titled “2016”, the unemployed Ilana winds up working at Clinton’s headers in Brooklyn. Both Abbi and Ilana are star struck when they meet Clinton, which results in a funny scene. The episode can be watched on Broad City’s website, but will require login credentials from your TV provider.

Tonight is the third of the Democratic debates. The debate will be held at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire. Tonight’s lineup will include front runner Hillary Clinton, Senator Bernie Sanders, and Martin O’Malley. The topic of tonight’s debate will be foreign policy and the terrorist attacks in Paris. The moderators will be “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir and Chief Global Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz.

In a speech on Monday night in Brooklyn, New York, Hillary Clinton provided more details about her plans for immigration reform at the National Immigration Integration Conference. While she has laid out aspects of her plan on her website, she went in more detail on her plan to provide more assistance to people eligible for citizenship including waiving fees, increasing access to language programs, and closing privately run detention centers. She criticized Republicans, particularly Marco Rubio and Donald Trump, for their anti-immigration rhetoric and the notion that anti-immigration policies are part of what is necessary to “make America great again.” She said, “There are millions of people in America who could be naturalized but for one reason or another, they’re not. So let’s help more of our neighbors claim their rights. It’s so powerful, so precious to be a citizen of the United States.” A video from last night’s event is below.

Last week, Hillary Rodham Clinton gave an exclusive interview to the site Refinery29, an independent style and fashion website geared toward women. The topic discussed was sexual assault, especially assaults that take place on college campuses. Clinton addressed that topic last week during a speech at University of Northern Iowa. The key to Clinton’s plan is education and prevention. She said, “This starts at an early age, with the culture playing a role in this, the messages that are sent to young men, the kind of visual images seen all too often, the lyrics of music. We know there’s a kind of pressure or expectation about behaviors that are hurtful. And so, we need to do more, starting in high school, I would argue, to begin to try to change those signals; to begin to try to change the culture.” A video from the interview is above and you can read a transcript HERE.

Tonight, the State Department released another batch of emails from Hillary Rodham Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State. The department reports that this batch contains roughly 7,000 pages of emails and that what they have released so far constitutes about 25% of emails that Clinton turned over. To date, 188 of the emails have been marked as classified, but a State Department spokesman said that the emails were not marked as classified at the time they were sent or received.
Clinton has said on several occasions that she wants the emails available to the public in the interest of transparency. News organizations release quotes from a few of her emails, but many average Americans have asked how they can access the emails. Since the release of the emails is part of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), all the emails are being posted to the State Department’s FOIA website. To access the emails that have been released so far, follow the steps below:

Click on the arrow next to the “Posted Date” column header and select “Sort Descending” so that the recently released documents show first
Click the title of the document in the “Subject” field to open a PDF copy
As of this posting, the search yields 4,172 emails and documents, and this number is going to continue to grow. The State Department will release batches of Clinton’s emails at the end of each month through the end of 2015.
Hillary for America has updated its website with two new pages. The first is the addition of an Events page where you can search for Hillary for America organization events in your area. You can search by state, city, or zip code to locate events near you. The Events page is a great way to keep in touch with local Clinton supporters and track events in your hometown.
The second addition to the site is a page called The Briefing. As John Podesta wrote in a memo, The Briefing was created to debunk information presented by Republicans and others opposing Clinton. First up is Peter Schweizer’s book, Clinton Cash. The book is advertised as the inside story of foreign donations made to the Clinton Foundation during Clinton’s time as Secretary of State. Many of the allegations have been disproven, but the campaign has vowed to take the claims head-on. You can sign up to receive email updates from The Briefing and can follow its Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages for all the latest. Hillary Rodham Clinton ended speculation today by announcing that is running for president in 2016. In a video released online, Clinton outlined her plans for her campaign and appealed to potential voters. She is expected to speak with voters in Iowa and New Hampshire in the coming days.
