On Friday, Hillary Clinton received an honorary degree and spoke during the commencement ceremony of Medgar Evers College. Clinton acknowledged the college’s diverse student body during her speech and urged everyone to fight for voting rights and civil rights. Clinton focused on encouraging the graduates to fight for their rights and the rights of others as they venture into the world. She said, “Never let anyone silence your voices. Make your voices heard every single day. Clinton Speaks in Baltimore

On Monday evening, Hillary Clinton spoke in Baltimore, Maryland at a fundraising event for Representative Elijah Cummings’ Youth Program in Israel. During her speech, Clinton spoke about the importance of the United States working with the global community to combat terrorism at home and abroad. She called for unity in the face of the recent terrorist attacks in London. Without saying his name, Clinton criticized President Donald Trump for his recent actions in the international community saying, “It’s a time for steady, determined leadership, like we are seeing from local authorities in London, including the mayor of London. This is not a time to lash out, to incite fear or to use tragedy and terror for political gain. Clinton Speaks at Annual BookExpo in NYC

On Thursday, Hillary Clinton appeared at the annual BookExpo event in New York City. Clinton was interviewed on stage by author Cheryl Strayed, and the two discussed a number of topics including the 2016 election and her upcoming book. The book, which will be published by Simon & Schuster this fall, is said to be inspired by a series of funny, meaningful, and inspirational quotes that Clinton has collected over the years. She said, “This book is, for me, a really personal, deep experience, and I also have to say an emotional catharsis.” Clinton spoke about how writing the book has helped her get through the last several months and inspired her to keep fighting. Hillary Clinton Interviewed at Code Conference

On Wednesday, Hillary Clinton was interviewed at the Code Conference in Ranchos Palos Verdes, California. Clinton was interviewed at the annual event by veteran tech journalists, and Recode co-founders, Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher. During their conversation, Clinton discussed losing the 2016 election, which she took the blame for. She did also place part of the blame on a number of other factors including the alleged hacking of the DNC and John Podesta by Russia, the letter sent to Congress by FBI Director James Comey, and incorrect data provided by the DNC. Clinton was also critical of the Democratic Party’s digital strategy saying that the party needed to get better at outreach. When asked whether she would remain active in politics, Clinton said, “I’m not going anywhere. I have a big stake in what happened in this country. Chelsea Clinton Discusses New Book on Today Show

Chelsea Clinton appeared on NBC’s the Today Show earlier this week. During the interview, Chelsea discussed the 2016 presidential election with co-host Savannah Guthrie and her reaction to her mother’s loss. The primary reason for Chelsea’s visit, however, was the release of her new children’s book She Persisted: 13 American Women Who Changed the World. Hillary Clinton Give Commencement Address at Wellesley College

On Friday, Hillary Clinton delivered the annual commencement address at her alma mater, Wellesley College. Clinton last delivered the commencement address at the college twenty-five years ago, and she also spoke during her own graduation from the institution in 1969. She spoke about her time at Wellesley during her speech, and she also talked about the 2016 presidential campaign. She said, “You may have heard that things didn’t go exactly as I planned. But you know what, I’m doing OK.” Over the years, Clinton has been criticized for being ambitious. Perhaps overly ambitious. She offered some advice on that topic saying, “Don’t be afraid of your ambition, of your dreams or even your anger. Clinton Slams Trump During Speech at Children’s Health Fund

On Tuesday, Hillary Clinton was honored by the Children’s Health Fund, and she addressed a gathering of the organization’s members and supporters. During her speech, Clinton criticized President Donald Trump for the budget his administration proposed this week. She said that “this administration and Republicans in Congress are mounting an onslaught against the needs of children and people with disabilities, women and seniors.” The Trump budget calls for cuts in a number of programs that benefit the poor and disabled including food stamps and Medicaid. Clinton urged everyone to stand up to the president and Congressional Republicans saying, “It hurts the well-being of children. Clinton Speaks at Planned Parenthood Gala

Hillary Clinton spoke at the Planned Parenthood 100th Anniversary Gala in New York City on Tuesday night. During her speech, Clinton argued that women’s health care is important and warned that the Donald Trump administration and Republican administrations across the country are taking away women’s health care by closing Planned Parenthood clinics and cutting funding. She said, “As we speak, politicians in Washington are still doing everything they can to roll back the rights and progress we’ve fought so hard for over the last century.” Clinton acknowledged the controversy surrounding Planned Parenthood and abortion rights, and she said that everyone has a right to their personal feelings, but the government should not take away anyone’s right to control their body. “Let us respect people’s convictions. But never back down from our commitment to defend the ability of every woman to make these deeply personal decisions for herself. Clinton Discusses Election at Women for Women Luncheon

On Tuesday afternoon, Hillary Clinton was a guest of the Women for Women International Luncheon in New York City. During the event, Clinton had a conversation with Christiane Amanpour. The two discussed a number of issues including the Donald Trump administration, a potential conflict with North Korea, and the 2016 presidential election. While Clinton accepted the blame for her loss, she said that there were a number of other factors including the letter from FBI Director James Comey and Russian hacking of the emails of the Democratic National Committee and Hillary for America Campaign Director John Podesta.

Clinton said she would have won the election if it had not been for the Comey letter and Wikileaks in late October adding, “If the election had been held on October 27, I’d be your president, and it wasn’t. It was on October 28.” Clinton did not deflect all of the blame saying that her campaign made mistakes. “I was the candidate, I was the person who was on the ballot and I am very aware of the challenges, the problems, the shortfalls that we had,” she admitted. Clinton Warns LGBT Community of Trump During New York Speech

On Thursday, Hillary Clinton received the trailblazer award from The Center, a LGBT Community Center, in New York City. Clinton spoke at the event and warned the audience that the Donald Trump administration could undo years of progress. “But I think we have to face the fact that we may not ever be able to count on this administration to lead on LGBT issues. Let’s remember, 2018, the midterm elections … We can never stop fighting,” Clinton said. She spoke about the anti-LGBT actions in Chechnya and the proposed cuts to funding for HIV and AIDS research. She urged everyone to keep fighting saying, “I know that the election hit a lot of us hard.
