Tim Kaine Rallies Voters in Wisconsin

Tim Kaine spoke at three get out the vote events today in Wisconsin. At his first event in Milwaukee, he told the audience that he and Hillary Clinton are excited with only a few days left in the campaign, and they are both determined to win. He called it “an excitement to embrace an agenda that`s a stronger together agenda, and reject an agenda that is a divisive, name calling, blame game, take us backward agenda — and so we`re seeing it pick up in such a great way.” Kaine said that it is important that everyone get out and vote so their voice is heard given the stakes in this election. He concluded by asking everyone not to take a lead in the polls to mean anything, and that everyone’s vote is important. News coverage of Kaine’s Milwaukee visit is below.

Kaine then traveled to Green Bay where he spoke about Clinton’s optimistic platform, and he outlined her plans to create jobs, make college more affordable, raise the minimum wage, and focus on the middle class by building an economy that works for everyone. Kaine stressed the importance of defeating Donald Trump and electing a candidate with the experience and a comprehensive platform like Clinton. Kaine’s final event was a get out the vote event in La Crosse. Kaine spoke to a crowd of supporters after they watch today’s Green Bay Packers football game. Kaine outlined key points in Clinton’s platform including her plans to create jobs and invest in American manufacturing. Tim Kaine Encourages Voters in Florida

Tim Kaine returned to Florida on Friday where he spoke on the campus of the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne. Kaine stressed the importance of the election and encouraged everyone to get out and vote next Tuesday. He said that the race is close and that “we can’t take anything for granted.” During his speech, Kaine outlined a number of Hillary Clinton’s key platform points including her plan to make college more affordable, raise the minimum wage, and pass comprehensive immigration reform. He also attacked Donald Trump for his divisive campaign saying that America is truly stronger together. A video from the event will be added when/if available.

Meanwhile, Kaine’s wife, Anne Holton, spoke to a group of supporters in Salt Lake City, Utah. Holton spoke about Clinton’s plans to raise the minimum wage, ensure that woman receive equal pay, and expand early childhood education. She said that none of that will be possible unless everyone gets out to vote on Tuesday. Holton addressed the historic nature of electing the first woman president saying, “And we will all own a piece of it, and won’t it be fun to have Utah own a piece of it?” A video from the event will be added when/if available.

Bill Clinton Campaigns for Hillary in Colorado

Bill Clinton campaigned for Hillary Clinton today in Colorado. At his first event, Bill spoke to a group of supporters at Union Depot in Pueblo. He outlined key points of Hillary’s platform including her plans to create jobs and build and economy that works for everyone. Throughout his speech, Bill referred to Donald Trump, but never mentioned him by name. He criticized his temperament and lack of experience. He concluded the event by asking everyone to vote for Clinton on Tuesday saying, “If the people vote, she’ll win. I believe she’ll be the first woman president but even those things are not as important as what it will mean for you.”

He then spoke at the EXDO Event Center in Denver where he covered a number of the same topics as in Pueblo including her plans to make college more affordable and pass comprehensive immigration reform. The focus of Bill’s speech was about the type of America we want to build for future generations. Do we want a president who looks to the past or one who plans for the future. “This is a change election — I do agree with her opponent on that. The question is: Are you going to change forward, to build on what we are doing right?  … Or are you going to change backward and go back to trickle down economics on steroids?,” he said. He concluded by asking everyone to get out and vote on Tuesday.

At his final stop of the day in Fort Collins, Bill focused on unity and how Hillary’s plans ensure that Americans are united in enjoying the prosperity offered in the United States. Unlike her opponent who is focused on dividing people to gain votes, Bill argued that Hillary aims to create a stronger and more united country. He urged everyone to vote for Hillary on Tuesday saying, “We’re the longest-lasting democracy in human history and that’s for a reason: We keep making progress toward our more perfect union.” Videos from today’s events will be added when/if available.

Vice President Joe Biden Campaigns in Florida

Vice President Joe Biden returned to Florida where he attended two campaign events on behalf of Hillary Clinton and local Democrats. At his first stop in Tampa, Biden spoke about the importance of electing Clinton president and electing Democrats such as Patrick Murphy to the Senate. Biden spoke about a number of issues that Clinton will focus on as president such as creating jobs and growing the economy. He also went after Donald Trump saying, “This guy doesn’t deserve to be president. On his sixth bankruptcy he stiffed more workers than you can count and then on national television in a debate said ‘maybe I didn’t like the quality of the work.’ Well, Trump, maybe I don’t like the quality of what you say.” He urged everyone to get out and vote on November 8th and to take advantage of early voting. Biden then spoke at a rally in Palm Beach Gardens where he characterized Florida as a must win for Clinton. He said, “Here we go again. Florida. It always comes down to Florida. … We get it done here, we can go home to bed early Tuesday.” Speaking on the campus of Palm Beach State College, Biden spoke about the rising cost of college education and Clinton’s plan to make college more affordable for students and ensure that they graduate debt-free. Hillary Clinton Encourages Early Voting in Iowa

On Friday, Hillary Clinton returned to Iowa where she stressed the importance of voting at events in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines. During the event in Cedar Rapids, Clinton stressed the importance of the election saying that it is in the hands of voters to decide what type of country we want. She said, “The choice is yours as to what kind of country we will have.” Clinton attacked her Republican rival, Donald Trump, for his divisive campaign tactics and disrespectful comments about women, immigrants, and Muslims. She spoke about a number of her platform points focusing on women’s issues such as reproductive rights, equal pay, and paid family leave. She concluded by urging everyone to get out an vote on election day or to take advantage of early voting. A video from the event is below.

In Des Moines, Clinton spoke at Roosevelt High School about the importance of voting and taking advantage of early voting in Iowa. Clinton spoke about a number of platform points including her plans to grow the economy, create jobs by investing in infrastructure and clean energy, and making college more affordable for students, both past and future. Chelsea Clinton campaigned on behalf of mother today in Wisconsin. Chelsea spoke at events in La Crosse, Stevens Point, and Madison, and at each, she focused on the importance of voting because this election will have a profound impact on everyone’s future, and as a mother, electing Donald Trump concerns her. “Whomever we elect to replace President Obama will help shape the future for my children and your children and grandchildren,” she said. She spoke about a number of Hillary Clinton’s platform points including her plans to promote economic growth, create jobs, raise the minimum wage, and make college more affordable. Chelsea concluded each event by urging everyone to vote and to take advantage of the early voting available in the state. Senator Warren Campaigns for Hillary in Ohio

On Sunday, Senator Elizabeth Warren campaigned on behalf of Hillary Clinton in Cleveland, Ohio. Speaking at Cleveland State University, she was joined by former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland and actor John Lithgow. Senator Warren spoke about Clinton’s major platform points, especially those related to higher education. She also went after Donald Trump saying, “Trump has led the charge on the “birther” movement and only when his handlers tied him down and made him did he finally admit that it wasn’t true. A fundraiser was also held in Sydney, Australia today on behalf of Hillary for America. The event was only open to American Citizens and featured a conversation with Jeffrey L. Bleich, United States Ambassador to Australia.

Bill Clinton Spends Saturday in Pennsylvania

On Saturday, Bill Clinton spoke at two organizing events in Pennsylvania on behalf of his wife Hillary Clinton. Between the two events, he also stopped a number of restaurants and businesses in the Philadelphia area. His first event at the Swarthmore Rutledge School where he spoke about a number of Hillary’s platform points including the economy and health care. He asked supporters to vote for Hillary on Tuesday in the Pennsylvania primary.

Clinton then traveled to Ambler where he spoke to a crowd of supporters at Wissahickon Middle School. At the event, he was joined by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and her husband Mark Kelly. Giffords and Kelly spoke briefly, but Clinton spent a part of his speech focusing on introducing measures to curb gun violence. Like Hillary, he called for universal background checks to ensure firearms are not getting into the hands of those who should not own one. Bill Clinton Campaigns for Hillary in WY, WI

On Monday, Bill Clinton campaigned on behalf of his wife in two states. First, Clinton spoke at a rally in Cheyenne, Wyoming where he talked about Wyoming’s place in the energy economy, especially coal and natural gas. Speaking about the future, he said, “In the end, we’re going to be phasing into a new energy future. It’s going to be a long time, and Wyoming has the most efficient and lowest sulfur (coal) in the world.” He spoke about Hillary’s experience and her plans to help communities that rely heavily on fossil fuel production. In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Clinton spoke to a crowd of supporters on the eve of the state’s primary. Speaking at the Turner Hall Ballroom, he spoke about a number of Hillary’s key platform points including reigning in higher education costs, ensuring equal pay for women, and raising the minimum wage (Hillary was in New York which signed a $15 minimum wage bill into law today). While polls indicate that Hillary trails Democratic rival Bernie Sanders, Bill said that he would not count out Wisconsin voters saying, “You have no choice, but to elect the person who’s got the best ideas, and who is the best person, with a record of leadership for change. That’s Hillary. We need Wisconsin. Go out and work for it. Thank you and God bless you.”

Bill, Chelsea Among Those Campaigning for Hillary Today

On Monday, a number of campaign events and fundraisers were held in support of Hillary Clinton. In North Carolina, Bill Clinton attended three organizing events in preparation for the state’s primary on March 15. Hosting events in Raleigh, Greensboro, and Charlotte, Bill spoke about his wife’s experience and her career as a change maker. At each of the events, he spoke about a variety of topics including higher education, student debt, heath care, and the economy. He took shots at both the Republican presidential candidates and Hillary’s Democratic rival Bernie Sanders, though he did not mention any of them by name. He asked supports to vote for Hillary in the upcoming primary because “this is a big election.” Videos from the events in Raleigh and Charlotte are below.

Chelsea was in Michigan campaigning for her mother before tomorrow’s primary. Appearing at events in Detroit, East Lansing, and Grand Rapids, Chelsea spoke about her mother’s experience and plans to move the country forward. In Detroit, Chelsea attended a college affordability round table at Wayne State University. She spoke about Hillary’s plan to make college more affordable for those who cannot pay for tuition. She drew a distinction between Hillary’s plan and that of Sanders saying, “Families who have done well in our country should still continue to pay tuition for their students to go to college. For those who haven’t yet done well yet, for lower-class families, even middle-class families, their children should be able to go to public universities tuition-free. Everyone should be able to graduate debt-free.” Sanders’ plan calls for everyone to get free tuition, regardless of income level.

A number of other events took place across the world today in support of Hillary and Hillary for America. In London, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright attended two fundraisers which were attended by American citizens living abroad. Meanwhile, back in Michigan, Senior Policy Advisor Jake Sullivan attended a fundraiser in Birmingham. The final event of the day was a virtual fundraiser hosted by Former Under Secretary of State Bob Hormats. The topic of conversation for the virtual gathering was Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment.
