On Friday, Bill Clinton attended four events in Southern California on behalf of Hillary Clinton. The first event was in Burbank where he spoke about Hillary’s experience and her robust platform plans to move America forward. He also spoke about violence at a rally held by Republican nominee Donald Trump in San Jose. Bill asked Hillary’s supporters to listen to all ideas respectfully and peacefully. He said, “If people want to protest Mr. Trump or Hillary or me or anyone, fine, but it should be peaceful. People should be able to have their say. We should listen to everybody respectfully. We can win this argument; we don’t need to shout it down.” Bill concluded by asking for voters’ support in the June 7 Democratic primary. A video from a member of the audience is below.

He then spoke at Get Out the Vote events in Pacoima, Woodland Hills, and Santa Monica. At each of the events, he continued to tout Hillary’s experience and platform. At each event, he criticized Trump and the Republicans. In Santa Monica, Bill said that it wasn’t until Hillary left the State Department that the attacks on her began. He said, “All these Republicans were slobbering all over her ’til she left the state department, thought she was wonderful.” Bill asked for voters’ support in the upcoming primary. Additional videos from the day’s events will be posted when/if available.

Hillary Goes to the Ground Game in New Hampshire

On Saturday, Hillary Clinton remained in New Hampshire where she attended a number of Get Out the Vote rallies, but Clinton also took the ground and knocked on doors in Manchester. She stopped at a number of houses and visited with local residents. Clinton is behind in the New Hampshire primary polls, but she has not given up on the state. In addition to her efforts, a number of other politicians were in the state campaigning on her behalf including former Secretary of State Madeleline Albright, Senator Al Franken, and Senator Cory Booker.

Clinton attended three rallies in New Hampshire on Saturday. The events in Concord and Portsmouth were typical events during which Clinton spoke to the crowd before taking questions from the audience. However, the event she held at New England College in Henniker was different in that the campaign challenged Bernie Sanders supports to attend the town hall event. She was asked tough questions about her ties to Wall Street, and she was able to defend herself in person. It was an interesting strategy that might earn her some respect and support. A video from her event in Portsmouth is below.

Today, Hillary will be on CNN’s State of the Union and will hold a community event in Flint, Michigan. For all the latest, follow our revamped Scheduled Events page and follow Clinton on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Although they criticized Clinton for not admitting when she has made a mistake, they said that overall her knowledge on a wide variety of issues impressed their editors during two separate interview sessions. In conclusion, they said, “Iowa Democrats will have to choose between the lofty idealism of Bernie Sanders and the down-to-earth pragmatism of Hillary Clinton. For some, this will be a choice of whether to vote with their hearts or their heads. Clinton Addresses Women’s Rights in New Hampshire

BN-KE227_0905hi_G_20150905152240Today, Hillary Rodham Clinton returned to Portsmouth, New Hampshire on the 20th Anniversary of her Beijing speech on women’s rights. The primary topic of her speech in Portsmouth was women’s rights, and she directly criticized Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for his disregard for women’s rights. She said, “He [Trump] said he would do a much better job for women than I would. That’s a general election debate that’s going to be a lot of fun. He says he loves women. In fact, to quote him, he ‘cherishes’ us. Well, if it’s all the same to you, Mr. Trump, I’d rather you stop cherishing women and start respecting women.”

A video of Clinton’s speech is below.
