Bill Clinton Campaigns for Hillary in Greensboro

Bill Clinton returned to North Carolina on Monday on the final day before Tuesday’s election. In his last solo event of the election cycle, Bill encouraged everyone to get out and vote for Hillary Clinton tomorrow and send a message that Donald Trump’s vision for America is unacceptable. “North Carolina, you’ve got a lot on the line. You’ve got a chance to send a message to America and to your fellow citizens that yes, we are stronger together, yes, love does trump hate, and yes, we are a state of empowerment, not resentment,” he told the crowd. He spoke briefly about Hillary’s optimistic plans for America’s future before wrapping up by asking everyone to vote. A video from the event is below.

Bill Clinton Campaigns for Hillary in Iowa

Bill Clinton returned to Iowa on Wednesday where he spoke at two events. The first was in Sioux City where he spoke about all the negativity in the campaign cycle. “I hate all this poison that’s in this election. All this utter meanness, it’s unlimited. ” Instead of focusing on the negative, Bill spoke about Hillary Clinton’s optimistic view of America and how she plans to create jobs, grow the economy, and raise the minimum wage. He concluded by asking everyone to vote so their voice is heard. “Tell people they need to be a part of this. Yes, it’s important to have the first woman president and it’s important that the first woman president will be the best qualified person to run, but it’s more important to listen to what those children are saying…It’s just up to us,” he said.

Bill’s final event of the day was in Waterloo. During the event, Bill asked the crowd if they wanted the country to progress or go backward. When the crowd responded that they wanted progress, Bill spoke about a number of Hillary’s plans that are aimed at doing just that. He was optimistic as he spoke about his wife’s plan to create new jobs, create an economy that works for everyone, and build the middle class. Bill attacked Trump’s negative campaign saying, “Hillary says, ‘OK, your frustration and your anger is legitimate, but you need empowerment not resentment.’ And he says, ‘Oh no you don’t. You just keep right on resenting, so I can ride this horse as long as I can.’” He concluded the event by urging everyone to vote. Videos from today’s events will be posted when/if available.

Bill Clinton Campaigns for Hillary in New Hampshire

Bill Clinton was in New Hampshire on Monday where he spoke at two events on behalf of Hillary Clinton. His first event was in Hanover on the campus of Dartmouth College where he focused on the positive things have happened in the United States over the last eight years. While he admitted that there is still progress to be made, he believes that Hillary has the plans to continue economic growth and ensure that everyone has an opportunity to prosper in America. He contrasted the message of Hillary’s campaign with that of Republican Donald Trump’s saying that “Strong Together” is far more positive then “Make America Great Again.” Bill wrapped up the event by talking about New Hampshire’s role in the election and encouraging everyone to vote on November 8th. In Keene, Bill spoke on the campus of Keene State College and largely focused on the same themes as he did in Hanover. He urged voters to remain optimistic about America’s future and elect someone who is optimistic as well. “You cannot give this country’s future away to people who think anger is better than answers, that resentment is much better than empowerment, that endless conflict is better than cooperation,” he said of Trump. Bill then looked to after the election and called for unity saying, “One of the things I think we have to do when this election is over — every one of us, each in our own way — is not treat the people on the other side the way they and their candidate have treated us. Bill Clinton Campaigns in Michigan

On Monday, Bill Clinton campaigned on behalf of Hillary Clinton in Michigan. His first event was in Saginaw where he spoke about Hillary’s plans in detail saying, “We need a change to broadly shared prosperity. You have to have plans to do that.” Bill contrasted the plans of Hillary with those of Donald Trump saying that what we need a country are answers and not anger, empowerment over resentment, and bridges instead of walls. He argued that Hillary was the best and only candidate offering all three. A video from the event is below.

Bill then traveled to Flint where he spoke about inequality and unity. He said that Hillary is about more than just jobs and that her “Stronger Together” is more than a motto, it is a framework for the country. Bill detailed a number of Hillary’s platform points including her plans to create jobs, invest in the country’s infrastructure and clean energy, improve health care by expanding Medicare and Medicaid, and making college more affordable. He made it clear that Hillary is “the only person who’s got a clear, affordable, achievable economic strategy.” A video from his speech in Flint is below.

Meanwhile, in Brussels, Belgium, a fundraiser was held on behalf of Hillary for America for American citizens living in the area. The event featured a conversation with Stephen Rapp, Former United States Ambassador-at-Large for Global Criminal Justice.
