HFA Fundraisers Held on Sunday, Kutcher in Iowa

On Sunday, two fundraisers were held on behalf of Hillary for America. The first was a LGBT and Allies reception in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event featured a conversation with Mayor Michael Nutter and music by DJ Samantha Ronson. Then, in Providence, Rhode Island, a fundraiser was hosted by Michelle Kwan and Clay Pell. The event featured a conversation with actor Tony Goldwyn.

Hillary Clinton has also received several celebrity endorsements. Actor Ashton Kutcher visited a local Hillary for America campaign office in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A native Iowan, Kutcher criticized Donald Trump for doing anything to get elected. “In an effort to get himself elected, he’s willing to say whatever he has to and make you promises that ultimately I don’t think he can keep, but what most common sense people think is right,” he said. Kutcher continued, “I think Hillary stands for all of the things we stand for.” Meanwhile, in an interview with Katie Couric, DJ Khaled said he was supporting Clinton.

Clintons Fundraise following Tuesday’s Primaries

On Wednesday, Hillary Clinton attended two fundraisers in California. The first was held at the home of Lyndon Rive in Altherton. Her second fundraiser was in Hillsborough and was hosted by Jerry and Michelle Kaplan. Meanwhile, Bill Clinton attended a fundraiser in Little Rock, Arkansas. The reception event was hosted by Clark Trim and Henrik Thostrup. In Boston, Massachusetts Senior Policy Advisor Ann O’Leary held a Healthcare Policy Conversation hosted by Jack Connors.

Clintons Attend Fundraisers in Four States

On Tuesday, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton hit the fundraising trail where they attended separate events in four different state. Hillary began with an event home of Amy and Philip Blumenthal in Charlotte, North Carolina. She then attended a fundraiser at the New Orleans home of Frances and Calvin Fayard. She wrapped up the day attending a fundraiser at the Children’s Museum of Houston in Texas.

Chelsea, meanwhile, was in New York City for two events. The first was an afternoon tea hosted by Susan York. Chelsea and Anna Wintour, editor of American Vogue, both attended the event. Chelsea’s second event was a fundraising reception. As with all private fundraisers, the events were closed to the press.

Meeting the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today as a part of their short visit to the United States. They met at a reception held at the official residence of the British Consul General, Danny Lopez. A number of wildlife charities were represented at the reception which was co-hosted by the Duke and Duchess’s Royal Foundation and the Clinton Foundation. Clinton (who recently became a grandmother) and the Duchess (who is five months pregnant) briefly spoke about the importance of child development. The Duke gave a brief speech about the black market for animal hides and ivory saying, “It’s easy to blame others for the problem – demand in South East Asia, not enough protection on the ground, and so on. But, if I may say, we could start with looking closer to home. Our own nations still have thriving black markets in these products, and we have to raise the game at home as well as abroad.”
