Clinton Partners with Univision to Promote Early Childhood Education

February 4, 2014

Hillary Rodham Clinton, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, officials from Univision, and local community leaders gathered in Harlem for a roundtable discussion about early childhood education and the issues facing Hispanic families. During the event, Clinton’s Too Small to Fail announced a partnership with Univision and Next Generation to ensure that children have the opportunities to develop their language skills early.

“We start with the recognition that too many children are behind by the time they get to school,” Clinton said. “Our Spanish language partnership will help Hispanic parents, grandparents and caregivers help to get their own children ready for school.”

The video above is from the Too Small to Fail initiative started by Clinton last summer. A video from the event will be posted when/if one is available.
