On Saturday, Chelsea Clinton campaigned for Hillary Clinton in North Carolina where she traveled across the state. At events in Elizabeth City, Charlotte, and Asheville, Chelsea spoke about her mother’s platform and her plans to ensure equal pay for women, create new jobs, and create an economy that works for everyone. She concluded each event by asking everyone to get out and vote for Hillary and make sure their voice is heard. “Every vote really matters. Lots of people haven’t voted yet. It’s just not OK to sit (this election) out. We still have three days to make our case,” she said. A video from the event in Charlotte, where she also took questions from the audience, is below.
On Friday, Hillary Clinton campaigned in two battleground states with her first event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Clinton was joined by former Steelers football players Franco Harris and Mel Blount, singer Donnie Iris, and Mark Cuban. Cuban introduced Clinton and attacked Donald Trump saying that “we cannot put our trust in Trump.” Clinton then spoke about a number of her campaign platform points and focused on her plans to create jobs by investing in infrastructure and American manufacturing. She said that as president, she would lead by listening to people and finding common ground, something that she doubts Trump is capable of. Clinton concluded by asking everyone to vote adding, “This is one of those make-or-break moments for the United States. Clinton then traveled to Detroit, Michigan where she asked everyone to consider what kind of future we want for our country and our children. Do we want Trump’s divisive vision that brings back failed policies? Or would we rather plan for the country’s future by working together and creating an economy for the 21st century that benefit everyone? She outlined a number of her plans, but said that none of it will be possible if Trump is elected. Clinton urged everyone to get out and vote saying, “You have to vote. Our progress is on the line. President Barack Obama campaigned for Hillary Clinton at two events in North Carolina today. In Fayetteville, Obama spoke about the importance of the election and urged everyone to focus on electing Clinton president. During the event, the president was interrupted by a man with a sign for Donald Trump. The crowd began to chant and boo him, but Obama hushed the crowd and said, “I told you to be focused, and you’re not focused right now. Listen to what I’m saying. Hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up. Everybody sit down and be quiet for a second.” He explained that it is that man’s right to support the candidate of his choice, but those of us who support Clinton need to get out and show our support. In Charlotte, Obama said that polls are showing that the election will be close, but in order for victory to be guaranteed, everyone needs to vote. Obama did outline a number of Clinton’s platform points including her plans to raise minimum wage, make college more affordable, and invest in clean energy. He also spoke about her dedication to creating jobs and building on the progress of the job market over the last several years. But he warned that electing Trump would end it all. “Everything we fought for, all of that goes out the window if we don’t win this election,” he said. A video from the Charlotte event is below.
On Friday, Vice President Joe Biden campaigned in Madison, Wisconsin. During his speech, Biden explained the importance of electing Hillary Clinton as president and down ballot Democrats into office such as U.S. Senate candidate Russ Feingold. Biden spoke about Clinton’s platform including her plans to create jobs by investing in infrastructure and American manufacturing. He said that none of that will happen if we do not elect Democrats to the House and Senate. Biden also criticized Donald Trump for his divisive tone and how his slogan implies that America is not a great country. “It makes me so damn angry. Folks. You’re incredible. When I hear the best days of America are already behind us it makes realize how fundamental this divide is,” he said. Biden concluded by asking voters to support Clinton and Feingold on Tuesday. Bill Clinton campaigned for Hillary Clinton today in Colorado. At his first event, Bill spoke to a group of supporters at Union Depot in Pueblo. He outlined key points of Hillary’s platform including her plans to create jobs and build and economy that works for everyone. Throughout his speech, Bill referred to Donald Trump, but never mentioned him by name. He criticized his temperament and lack of experience. He concluded the event by asking everyone to vote for Clinton on Tuesday saying, “If the people vote, she’ll win. I believe she’ll be the first woman president but even those things are not as important as what it will mean for you.”
He then spoke at the EXDO Event Center in Denver where he covered a number of the same topics as in Pueblo including her plans to make college more affordable and pass comprehensive immigration reform. The focus of Bill’s speech was about the type of America we want to build for future generations. Do we want a president who looks to the past or one who plans for the future. “This is a change election — I do agree with her opponent on that. The question is: Are you going to change forward, to build on what we are doing right? … Or are you going to change backward and go back to trickle down economics on steroids?,” he said. He concluded by asking everyone to get out and vote on Tuesday.
At his final stop of the day in Fort Collins, Bill focused on unity and how Hillary’s plans ensure that Americans are united in enjoying the prosperity offered in the United States. Unlike her opponent who is focused on dividing people to gain votes, Bill argued that Hillary aims to create a stronger and more united country. He urged everyone to vote for Hillary on Tuesday saying, “We’re the longest-lasting democracy in human history and that’s for a reason: We keep making progress toward our more perfect union.” Videos from today’s events will be added when/if available.

Hillary Clinton returned to North Carolina on Thursday where she spoke at two events. Her first event was on the campus of Pitt Community College in Winterville. Clinton spoke for over half an hour about a number of her platform points including criminal justice reform, creating new jobs, making college more affordable, and creating an economy that works for everyone and does not favor those at the top. She also went after Donald Trump for his divisive rhetoric and his comments about various groups including women, Muslims, immigrants, and African Americans. Clinton said that Trump’s comments are encouraging others adding, “He’s giving a dog whistle to his supporters. [He’s] endorsed by the official paper of the KKK.” Clinton concluded her speech by asking everyone for their vote and encouraged them to take advantage of early voting or turn out next Tuesday. Clinton then traveled to Raleigh where she was joined by Senator Bernie Sanders and singer Pharrell Williams. Williams and Sanders spoke first talking about the stakes of the election and encouraging everyone to vote. When Clinton took the stage, she spoke about a number of her platform points including her plans to create more jobs by investing in infrastructure and American manufacturing, continuing to update the health care system to ensure universal coverage, and making college more affordable for families and students. On Thursday, Tim Kaine campaigned in Arizona as he spoke at two events. His first stop was in Phoenix where he spoke to members of the Hispanic community. Giving his speech entirely in Spanish, Kaine spoke about Hillary Clinton’s plan for comprehensive immigration reform and her dedication to families. He also spoke about the dangers of Donald Trump and blasted his anti-immigrant rhetoric saying that diversity is what makes America the great country it is. He said, “With so much at stake for the Hispanic community, it’s important that our campaign use the language that so many families around the country use.” A video of Kaine’s speech (dubbed in English) is below.
Kaine’s final event of the day was a Get Out the Vote rally in Tucson. During his speech, Kaine spoke about the importance of Arizona to Clinton. He said that recent polls indicate that she and Kaine could defeat Trump in the state. He focused on key points of Clinton’s platform including immigration reform and creating jobs. He said that she will fight for everyone adding, “She would not give up, back down, go away, or sell her principles short.” He concluded by asking everyone to get out and vote for Clinton on election day. “This election is less about where we going but who we are as a nation. Are we going to say it’s it OK to divide up against each other and insult each other? No, I embrace we are stronger together,” Kaine said. A video from the event will be added when/if available.
Anne Holton was on the campaign trail on Thursday and spoke at events in Toledo, Ohio and Reno, Nevada. At each event, Holton spoke about Clinton’s platform points and her dedication to expanding early childhood education and making college more affordable. Senator Bernie Sanders campaigned on behalf of Hillary Clinton in Ohio today. Sanders’ first event was on the campus of Youngstown State University. During his speech, he focused on Hillary Clinton’s plans to build the middle class by introducing plans to create jobs and raise the minimum wage. He said, “Middle class shrinking, millions living in dire poverty, the very, very rich getting richer. Large corporations enjoying huge profits. That is where we are today and what our job together is, to create an economy that works for all Americans, not just the billionaire class.” Sanders said that Clinton has a plan to ensure the economy works for everyone while Donald Trump wants to ensure that he and other billionaires have free reign. In Cincinnati, Sanders spoke to a crowd of supporters at the University of Cincinnati. He focused on the same populist platform points that gained him popularity including income inequality, raising the minimum wage, overturning Citizens United, making college more affordable, and combating climate change. Sanders said that Clinton has plans that address all those points, including some plans that he had a hand in crafting. He concluded by asking everyone to vote and challenged them to stay involved in politics after the election saying, “After we elect Hillary on Nov. 8, I want you to wake up on Nov. 9, roll up your sleeves and begin the process of taking on the billionaire class and transforming this country.” A video from the event is below.
Chelsea Clinton campaigned for her mother today in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She spoke about Hillary Clinton on a personal level and how she was raised. “I’m really glad (my parents) made sure I knew how lucky and how privileged I was. Because my mom has been driven my whole life, and even longer than I’ve been alive, to do all the good we can for all the people we can in all the places we can for as long as I can. And that’s the bedrock for her campaign.” Chelsea then outlined a number of Hillary’s platform proposals including her plan to create new jobs and build an economy that works for everyone and not just those at the top. “My mom has ambitious goals, but she’s never going to say anything that’s unconstitutional. She’s never going to promise something she knows is impossible because of our structure of government, but she is going to work her heart out to push the limits of what is possible for our children, for our families and for women’s rights and human rights,” she said. Senator Elizabeth Warren campaigned on behalf of Hillary Clinton and Democratic Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto. Speaking outside of the Democratic Party headquarters in Carson City, she spoke about the importance of electing Clinton and Democrats across the country. She spoke about a number of Clinton’s platform proposals including immigration reform, her plan to combat climate change, and creating an economy that works for everyone. She spoke about how Clinton supports labor unions while Republicans are trying to destroy them. “Unions built America’s middle class, and unions will rebuild America’s middle class,” she said. She concluded by urging everyone to vote on November 8th.
In Reno, Warren appeared at an event in support of Cortez Masto and Clinton. While she focused primarily on the Nevada Senate race, she spoke about the importance of electing Clinton president to ensure a progressive is in the White House. Warren also attacked Donald Trump saying, “He is a small, insecure moneygrubber who will never be president of the United States.” She called him a bully and criticized his business practices.
