Bill Clinton attended an organizing event in Espanola, New Mexico before the state’s primary on June 7. Bill spoke to a crowd of supporters about a number of Hillary’s platform points including her plans to combat the growing heroin addiction, the rising cost of prescription drugs, raising the minimum wage, creating new jobs, and fixing the country’s crumbling infrastructure. Bill spoke about Hillary’s experience and her record of getting things done before asking for voters’ support in the upcoming primary. A video from today’s event will be added when/if available.

Earlier in the day, Bill also attended a fundraiser in San Francisco. Also attending a fundraiser on behalf of Hillary for America today was William M. Daley. He attended an event in Chicago, Illinois that was hosted by Adam Hitchcock, Randy Rivera, Kevin Conlon, Lauren Beth Gash, David Anderson, Jon Samuels, Amy Singh, Todd Connor, and Chris Lunningham.
On Friday, Hillary Clinton spent the day in Pennsylvania leading up to next week’s primary. She attended events and visited with voters across the state. She began in Philadelphia where she spoke with Lilly Ledbetter, then in Jenkinstown, she spoke with a number of voters at a local cafe. During the conversation, she presented a number of her plans to continue economic growth, introduce new jobs, improve health care, and lower the cost of higher education. She then went to the Pittsburgh area where she had dinner at Primanti Brothers restaurant in Market Square where she spoke with supporters about labor unions, the minimum wage, and the struggles of the middle class.
In the evening, Clinton held an organizing event at Dunmore High School in Scranton. She had a populist tone as she referenced a number of local examples and bringing additional jobs to the area. She spoke about a number of her platform points and was largely positive in her outlook, “I believe we can still make it in America. We will knock down the barriers, and we will raise the minimum wage.” Clinton also spoke about her plans to expand mental health care and combat the heroin epidemic in the Northeast. She said, “Two things I hear most about are mental health and addiction. When I shake the hand of a mother, father, brother or sister of a mental health patient, they look at me and tell me they need help.” A video from the event will be posted when/if available.
Clinton was not alone on the campaign trail Friday. Secretary of Labor Tom Perez was in Reading, Pennsylvania where he spoke with a group of Hillary supporters. In Providence, Rhode Island, Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards spoke with a group of supporters.
Leading up to this weekend’s and next Tuesday’s primary races, Bill Clinton covered three states in two days campaigning for Hillary Clinton. On Thursday, Clinton spoke to supporters at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. During his remarks, he spoke about his wife’s experience and her plans to move the country forward. He said, “I think if the people of Mississippi stick with us, we’ll have some things we can really talk about.” Mississippi’s primary is on Tuesday.
On Thursday evening, Clinton spoke to a crowd in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he focused on Hillary’s experience and her plans for future. He focused on a number of platform topics including her plans for the economy, jobs, heath care, and addressing systemic racism. He asked supporters to get out and support her in Saturday’s Democratic primary race against Bernie Sanders. A video from the event is below.
On Friday, Clinton remained in Louisiana for an event in New Orleans. Speaking at the Ashe Power House Theater, Clinton spoke about Hillary as a change maker and someone who wants to keep America great. While he never mentioned Republican Donald Trump by name, Clinton took some shots at the front-runner. He also spoke about a number of Hillary’s key platform points, including reducing the cost of higher education, repairing infrastructure, fight the heroin epidemic, and pushing for equal pay for women.
Clinton then traveled to Nebraska where he spoke at the The Waiting Room nightclub in Omaha. During the event, he asked voters to support Hillary in this Saturday’s caucus. He also focused on a number of platform points, including higher education and student debt. He said, “What does she want to do about that? Make college tuition free in every public university in the country, in every historically black university and college in the country and every university that serves first and second generation Americans and other universities that are small with relatively modest tuition and high rates of return.”
Clinton’s final event of the day was a Get Out the Caucus event in Lincoln. At the Lincoln Station Great Hall, Mayor Chris Beutler endorsed Hillary before introducing Clinton. During his speech, Clinton spoke about the wage barriers that exist for too many American families and that Hillary has plans to help expand the middle class. He also spoke about her plans to improve the infrastructure and expand broadband internet. Clinton covered Hillary’s plans to expand background checks before buying a gun saying that the majority of gun owners support background checks. At the end of the speech, he asked voters to support Hillary in Saturday’s caucus saying, “If you want us to rise together…you should vote for the best change maker…vote for Hillary tomorrow.”
In Tampa, Florida tonight, Hillary For America hosted a town hall event on the American military and what can be done help service members and their families during and after their service. Attending the event was retired Brigadier General John Douglass, retired Rear Admiral Michael Smith (ret), Major General Rick Olson, and Jon Murray, National Director of Veterans and Military Families Outreach at Hillary for America.

On Friday, Hillary Clinton returned to New Hampshire where she attended three events. The first event was a town hall in Rochester. After being introduced by New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Clinton toned down her criticism of Bernie Sanders and rarely mentioned him by name. Being from neighboring Vermont, Sanders has a lot of supporters in New Hampshire, and she cannot afford to alienate them. She did point out several flaws in his plans, specifically heath care, and explained how her plan to expand the Affordable Care Act would be better for everyone. Mentioning Sanders by name, Clinton said, “Senator Sanders and I share many of the same goals, but we have different records and different ideas about how to drive progress.” A video from the event is below.
On the 43rd anniversary date of the Court’s Roe vs. Wade decision, Clinton spoke at a women’s health conference hosted by NARAL Pro-Choice America. During her speech, Clinton supported a woman’s right to choose, something she has firmly believed in for her entire political career. She said, “All women deserve to have their rights respected. All women deserve to have access to the health services and choices they are entitled to. It should not be that some who are fortunate economically can access their rights while all others are left behind.” A video from the event will be posted when/if available.
Clinton’s final event of the day was a town hall event held in Manchester. During the event, Clinton focused on the economy and the work that needs to be done to grow the middle class. She also spoke about the heroin and opioid crisis that is spreading across the Northeast and has had a high impact on New Hampshire. She said, “I was not prepared to hear from so many about what was happening in the families of New Hampshire. Addiction, the heroin epidemic which is at one highest rates in this state of any in the country.” A video from the event will be added when/if available.

Today, Hillary Clinton returned to the campaign trail hosting three town hall events across New Hampshire. At the first, held in Derry at Gilbert R. Hood Middle School, Clinton gave a speech before opening the floor to questions from those in attendance. She took a number of questions from children and answered questions about a variety of topics. She also responded to a heckler in the crowd by vowing not to call on her to ask a question. The second event was held in Concord at the local high school mirrored the first event in that she opened with a stump speech, then answered questions. Clinton was asked questions about gun control, climate change, social security, and the books she has read recently. The final town hall of the day was held at Keene High School where she was asked about care for the mentally ill, the heroin epidemic in the state, and how she would handle the big banks. On Friday, Hillary Rodham Clinton made a campaign stop in Portland, Maine. Speaking at an event at King Middle School, Clinton spoke about a wide variety of topics, and she attacked Republicans for calling for failed policies of the past. She also spoke about investing in green energy and choosing Supreme Court justices. Yesterday in New Hampshire, Clinton spoke at length about her plans to help those suffering from addiction. She, again, addressed the issue because heroin is an issue in the northeast. She said, “I did not think I’d be talking about substance abuse in my presidential campaign until I started campaigning. Everywhere I go, people ask me, ‘what are you going to do about the heroin epidemic?’” A full video of the event is below.
