Hillary Clinton Campaigns in North Carolina

Hillary Clinton returned to North Carolina on Thursday where she spoke at two events. Her first event was on the campus of Pitt Community College in Winterville. Clinton spoke for over half an hour about a number of her platform points including criminal justice reform, creating new jobs, making college more affordable, and creating an economy that works for everyone and does not favor those at the top. She also went after Donald Trump for his divisive rhetoric and his comments about various groups including women, Muslims, immigrants, and African Americans. Clinton said that Trump’s comments are encouraging others adding, “He’s giving a dog whistle to his supporters. [He’s] endorsed by the official paper of the KKK.” Clinton concluded her speech by asking everyone for their vote and encouraged them to take advantage of early voting or turn out next Tuesday. Clinton then traveled to Raleigh where she was joined by Senator Bernie Sanders and singer Pharrell Williams. Williams and Sanders spoke first talking about the stakes of the election and encouraging everyone to vote. When Clinton took the stage, she spoke about a number of her platform points including her plans to create more jobs by investing in infrastructure and American manufacturing, continuing to update the health care system to ensure universal coverage, and making college more affordable for families and students. Senator Sanders Campaigns for Hillary in Ohio

Senator Bernie Sanders campaigned on behalf of Hillary Clinton in Ohio today. Sanders’ first event was on the campus of Youngstown State University. During his speech, he focused on Hillary Clinton’s plans to build the middle class by introducing plans to create jobs and raise the minimum wage. He said, “Middle class shrinking, millions living in dire poverty, the very, very rich getting richer. Large corporations enjoying huge profits. That is where we are today and what our job together is, to create an economy that works for all Americans, not just the billionaire class.” Sanders said that Clinton has a plan to ensure the economy works for everyone while Donald Trump wants to ensure that he and other billionaires have free reign. Sanders concluded by urging everyone to vote and elect Clinton. A video of Sanders’ speech is below.

In Cincinnati, Sanders spoke to a crowd of supporters at the University of Cincinnati. He focused on the same populist platform points that gained him popularity including income inequality, raising the minimum wage, overturning Citizens United, making college more affordable, and combating climate change. Sanders said that Clinton has plans that address all those points, including some plans that he had a hand in crafting. He concluded by asking everyone to vote and challenged them to stay involved in politics after the election saying, “After we elect Hillary on Nov. 8, I want you to wake up on Nov. 9, roll up your sleeves and begin the process of taking on the billionaire class and transforming this country.” A video from the event is below.

Chelsea Clinton Campaigns in Milwaukee

Chelsea Clinton campaigned for her mother today in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She spoke about Hillary Clinton on a personal level and how she was raised. “I’m really glad (my parents) made sure I knew how lucky and how privileged I was. Because my mom has been driven my whole life, and even longer than I’ve been alive, to do all the good we can for all the people we can in all the places we can for as long as I can. And that’s the bedrock for her campaign.” Chelsea then outlined a number of Hillary’s platform proposals including her plan to create new jobs and build an economy that works for everyone and not just those at the top. “My mom has ambitious goals, but she’s never going to say anything that’s unconstitutional. She’s never going to promise something she knows is impossible because of our structure of government, but she is going to work her heart out to push the limits of what is possible for our children, for our families and for women’s rights and human rights,” she said. Senator Elizabeth Warren Encourages Voters in Nevada

Senator Elizabeth Warren campaigned on behalf of Hillary Clinton and Democratic Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto. Speaking outside of the Democratic Party headquarters in Carson City, she spoke about the importance of electing Clinton and Democrats across the country. She spoke about a number of Clinton’s platform proposals including immigration reform, her plan to combat climate change, and creating an economy that works for everyone. She spoke about how Clinton supports labor unions while Republicans are trying to destroy them. “Unions built America’s middle class, and unions will rebuild America’s middle class,” she said. She concluded by urging everyone to vote on November 8th.

In Reno, Warren appeared at an event in support of Cortez Masto and Clinton. While she focused primarily on the Nevada Senate race, she spoke about the importance of electing Clinton president to ensure a progressive is in the White House. Warren also attacked Donald Trump saying, “He is a small, insecure moneygrubber who will never be president of the United States.” She called him a bully and criticized his business practices. Hillary Clinton Campaigns in Arizona and Nevada

Hillary Clinton campaigned in Las Vegas, Nevada on Wednesday where she spoke about the importance of the election and electing down ballot Democrats such as Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto. During her speech, Clinton outlined a number of her key platform points including her plans to create jobs, pass comprehensive immigration reform, and build an economy that works for everyone. Clinton attacked rival Donald Trump for admitting that he would only accept the results of the election if he won and for his divisive comments and policies. She concluded her speech by asking everyone to vote. “The question is what kind of change are we going to have? Are we going to build a fairer stronger better America or are we going to fear the future and each other?” she said. A video of Clinton’s speech is below.

Clinton then spoke at a rally in Tempe, Arizona. She appeared at the event with former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords and her husband, Mark Kelly. During her speech, Clinton spoke about a number of platform points including passing common sense control, creating jobs, and building an economy that works for everyone. She also went after Trump saying, “Imagine a president who demeans women, mocks the disabled, insults Latinos, African Americans, Muslims, POWs, who pits people against each other, instead of pulling us together. Tim Kaine Campaigns in Iowa, Holton in Ohio

Tim Kaine returned to Iowa where he spoke at an event in Dubuque. During the event, Kaine spoke about Hillary Clinton’s plan to build an economy that works for everyone and not just those at the top. He spoke about Clinton’s plans to raise the minimum wage, make college more affordable, and create new jobs by investing in infrastructure and manufacturing. Kaine said that America is stronger when it works together, and he criticized Donald Trump’s divisive message. He argued that the choice is clear, “Hillary Clinton has a 40-plus year focus on the needs of families and kids that is every bit as historic as having the first women president. Meanwhile, Anne Holton spoke at four events for the campaign. She began in Iowa where she spoke at an early voting event in Fort Dodge. She then traveled to Ohio for events in Trotwood, Lima, and Findlay. At each event, Holton spoke about a number of Clinton’s platform including her plans to create jobs and build an equal economy. She spoke about the importance of the election urging everyone to vote saying, “Democracy works when people participate and what you are doing is helping people participate. President Obama Campaigns for Hillary at UNC-Chapel Hill

President Barack Obama campaigned on the campus of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where he spoke in support of Hillary Clinton and Democratic Senate candidate Deborah Ross. Obama argued that it is not only important to elect Clinton president, but to put down ballot Democrats in office as well. Obama spoke about Clinton’s focus on the middle class, creating jobs, and raising the minimum wage. During his speech, Obama attacked Donald Trump for his hateful rhetoric, but he argued that ut is spreading and North Carolina Senator Richard Burr is a prime example. Burr joked about a “bullseye” being placed on Clinton. Obama slammed his comments saying, “You don’t talk about violence against public officials, even in a joke. This is becoming normal. This is the red meat they’re throwing their audiences, and it’s not normal, and it’s not who North Carolina is.” He concluded his speech by urging everyone to vote. A video from the event is below.

Vice President Joe Biden Campaigns in Florida

Vice President Joe Biden returned to Florida where he attended two campaign events on behalf of Hillary Clinton and local Democrats. At his first stop in Tampa, Biden spoke about the importance of electing Clinton president and electing Democrats such as Patrick Murphy to the Senate. Biden spoke about a number of issues that Clinton will focus on as president such as creating jobs and growing the economy. He also went after Donald Trump saying, “This guy doesn’t deserve to be president. On his sixth bankruptcy he stiffed more workers than you can count and then on national television in a debate said ‘maybe I didn’t like the quality of the work.’ Well, Trump, maybe I don’t like the quality of what you say.” He urged everyone to get out and vote on November 8th and to take advantage of early voting. Biden then spoke at a rally in Palm Beach Gardens where he characterized Florida as a must win for Clinton. He said, “Here we go again. Florida. It always comes down to Florida. … We get it done here, we can go home to bed early Tuesday.” Speaking on the campus of Palm Beach State College, Biden spoke about the rising cost of college education and Clinton’s plan to make college more affordable for students and ensure that they graduate debt-free. Bill Clinton Campaigns for Hillary in Iowa

Bill Clinton returned to Iowa on Wednesday where he spoke at two events. The first was in Sioux City where he spoke about all the negativity in the campaign cycle. “I hate all this poison that’s in this election. All this utter meanness, it’s unlimited. ” Instead of focusing on the negative, Bill spoke about Hillary Clinton’s optimistic view of America and how she plans to create jobs, grow the economy, and raise the minimum wage. He concluded by asking everyone to vote so their voice is heard. “Tell people they need to be a part of this. Yes, it’s important to have the first woman president and it’s important that the first woman president will be the best qualified person to run, but it’s more important to listen to what those children are saying…It’s just up to us,” he said.

Bill’s final event of the day was in Waterloo. During the event, Bill asked the crowd if they wanted the country to progress or go backward. When the crowd responded that they wanted progress, Bill spoke about a number of Hillary’s plans that are aimed at doing just that. He was optimistic as he spoke about his wife’s plan to create new jobs, create an economy that works for everyone, and build the middle class. Bill attacked Trump’s negative campaign saying, “Hillary says, ‘OK, your frustration and your anger is legitimate, but you need empowerment not resentment.’ And he says, ‘Oh no you don’t. Bill Clinton Encourages Early Voting in Florida

Bill Clinton returned to Florida on Tuesday where he campaigned for Hillary Clinton at three events. His first event was in Florida City where he told a crowd of supporters that Hillary Clinton is, by far, the best candidate for president and that countless military and national security experts agree. “They know what the real security issue is. The real security issue is having somebody who will keep you safe and strong while we can grow our way together,” he said. Bill focused on Hillary’s plans to ensure that Americans are able to prosper together, and he outlined her plans to create jobs, grow the economy, and make college more affordable. He concluded by asking everyone to vote on election day or to vote early. A video of Bill’s speech is below.

Bill then traveled to Immokalee where he was greeted by supporters. Bill is the first former president to every visit the town. He spoke about the stark differences between Hillary and her opponent, Republican Donald Trump, saying that her plans focus on everyday people, and not those at the top. Bill touted Hillary’s plans to ensure college is affordable for everyone, improve the Affordable Care Act, and create jobs by investing in infrastructure, manufacturing, and clean energy. Again, Bill concluded stressing the importance of voting saying, “The most important thing you can do is to vote and take your friends to vote. Do it today tomorrow and every day through Election Day. If enough people who are for Hillary turn out, she’ll win Florida, and she’ll be the next president.” A video from the event is below.

Bill’s final stop of the day was in St. Petersburg where he focused on Hillary’s platform points and the divisive nature of Trump’s campaign. Bill outlined a number of Hillary’s key policies including her plans to create jobs and ensure an equal opportunity for every American to succeed. He then contrasted that vision with Trump’s saying that the racist undertones of Trump’s campaign are becoming more obvious. “As a 70-year-old Southerner, I know what will make America great again,” Clinton said implying that Trump will make it difficult for anyone who is not white.
