Clinton Joins Democratic Candidates in Iowa

Hillary Rodham Clinton returned to Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she gave a speech a Democratic party hall of fame dinner. The other Democratic party candidates for president  also spoke at the event including Bernie Sanders, Martin O’Malley, Jim Webb, and Lincoln Chafee. In her speech, Clinton avoided attacking her primary opponents despite sharing the stage with them. Instead, she went after Republican candidates Jeb Bush and Scott Walker for threatening to roll back a number of progressive policies enacted during the administration of President Barack Obama. Clinton said that the Democrats “are in the future business … but [the Republicans] are the party of the past.” A video of Clinton’s speech is below.

Tonight, Clinton returns to Arkansas as the keynote speaker for the Arkansas Democratic Party’s annual Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner in Little Rock. Until then, follow Clinton on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for all the latest updates.

Clinton Returns to New Hampshire

Hillary Rodham Clinton returned to the Granite State on Monday where she made three stops: Rochester, Concord, and Manchester. In Manchester this evening, Clinton attended a Flag Day dinner, but the main two events took place earlier in the day. In Rochester, she attended an early childhood education summit at the YMCA where she spoke about the importance of early childhood education and her plan to provide universal preschool across the country. Before leaving the YMCA, Clinton took time to read a book to the children.

In Concord, Clinton held a campaign rally where she made it clear that her campaign was not about her husband, former President Bill Clinton, or President Barack Obama. She is running as herself. She said, “I will do what works … and I will be laying out policies that will give you a very clear idea of the direction I will head.” She reiterated the four fights that she spoke first about at the campaign rally held in New York on Saturday.

League of Conservation Voters

Hillary Rodham Clinton was the keynote speaker at the League of Conservation Voters dinner. Clinton focused on the environment in her speech and touched on fracking and the future of natural gas. She did avoid the Keystone Pipeline in her speech. Clinton also spoke about climate change saying, “We continue to push forward but that is just the beginning of what is needed. There is no getting around the fact that the kind of ambitious response required to effectively combat climate change is going to be a tough sell at home and around the world.”

Drug, Chemical, & Associated Technologies Association Dinner

The surprise speaker at the 88th Annual Drug, Chemical, & Associated Technologies Association Dinner in New York this year was Hillary Rodham Clinton. The speaker for the event was not announced in advance. Clinton spoke about a number of topics including Ukraine, politics, and the fact that compromise is not a bad thing.

There is currently no video available for the event, but one will be posted if/when one is available.
