Hillary Clinton continued to talk about her plans to boost job creation and manufacturing during a stop in Colorado on Wednesday. Her first stop in the state was a local company in Denver called Knotty Tie Company. She toured the facility and spoke with several employees. She also addressed a gathering of the company’s employees and members of the press. During her remarks, she criticized Donald Trump for his double standard when it comes to American manufacturing. She pointed out that while he touts his “Made in America” plan while products bearing his name are made in China. Holding one of Trump’s ties in her hand, she said, “I really would like him to explain why he paid Chinese workers to make Trump ties.” A video of her brief remarks is below.
Clinton then went to Commerce City where she spoke to a crowd where she spoke about a number of key platform points. She spent the majority of her speech talking about manufacturing, jobs, and investing in education. Referring to her jobs and infrastructure plans, she said that she is calling for the largest mobilization of workers and government spending on infrastructure since World War II. Clinton said that while a big part of her infrastructure plan focuses on the country’s aging roads and bridges, a significant portion the plan would ensure access to broadband internet, especially in rural areas. On Tuesday, Hillary Clinton attended two fundraisers and held a town hall event for digital content creators in Los Angeles, California. During the event, Clinton spoke about her plans to cultivate innovation and assist young people with their startups. Clinton then took questions from those in attendance and spoke about a number of topics including job creation, foreign policy alliances, and her thoughts on Republican Donald Trump.
Clinton also unveiled her Initiative on Technology & Innovation on Tuesday. While some of the details were discussed at an event earlier in the day in Denver, more details were discussed during the evening’s town hall. The extensive plan includes proposals to assist entrepreneurs, improve the technology used in the United States, update existing infrastructure, expand computer science and STEM education, protect user privacy, and make government more technologically efficient. On Tuesday, Hillary Clinton spoke at a Denver, Colorado tech company where she unveiled plans to assist future entrepreneurs and encourage start-ups. Speaking at Galvanize, Clinton told the crowd, “Starting out can be daunting. There’s a lot, a lot of risk, even if you have a good idea. … It can be a lot harder if you are juggling student loan payments. And that can cut into what you are able to do.” Clinton spoke about her plan to help those out of college start businesses and begin working on their ideas and innovations. Defer federal student loans for up to three years with no interest
Offer an option to apply to have up to $17,500 of their student loans forgiven
Offer similar incentives to early joiners of a new enterprise
Provide access to specialized training and access to credit to grow their business
Invest in incubators and accelerators to help young people get their ventures off the ground

While in Denver, Clinton also attended a fundraiser at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The event included an appearance by Connie Britton. Meanwhile, two additional fundraisers were held on behalf of Hillary for America. The first was in London and hosted by Ebs Burnough, Effie Datson, Britt Lintner, Virginia Rustique, Jennifer Sponer, and Eileen Taylor. The event included a conversation with tennis champion Billie Jean King and actor Dustin Lance Black. The second event was held in Boston, Massachusetts and included a conversation with former Congressman Barney Frank.
On Thursday, Hillary Clinton was in New York City where she spoke at a brief press conference outside of Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. Clinton was primarily asked about the upcoming New York primary and the race between her and Bernie Sanders. Clinton avoided criticizing Sanders directly and said that it was going to be important to unite the party against the Republicans in November. She said, “I will take Bernie Sanders over Donald Trump or Ted Cruz any time. Let’s keep our eye on what’s really at stake in this election. We have Republicans whose values are so antithetical to what is right for New York or right for America.” A full video of the press conference is below.
While in New York, Clinton also attended a fundraiser in Mount Kisco. The event was held at the home of Marco Masotti and Tracy Stein. Clinton then traveled to Denver, Colorado where she attended a fundraiser. Also attended the event were Governor John and Robin Hickenlooper. The fundraiser also included performances by The Fray and Big Head Todd & The Monsters.
On Thursday, Chelsea Clinton and actress America Ferrera were in Denver, Colorado where they attended a Cherry Hills Village fundraiser and visited with college students at the University of Denver. Meanwhile in Nevada, actress Jamie Lee Curtis held three events in Reno, Carson City, and Incline Village. In Las Vegas, actress Chloë Grace Moretz visited with students on the campus of the University of Nevada – Las Vegas. Also supporting Clinton in Nevada today were Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto and California Congresswoman Maxine Waters. The Nevada caucus is this Saturday.
On Saturday, Hillary Clinton made a number of stops in Las Vegas where she met with voters and local business owners. Then, she held a rally in Henderson, where she spoke with union members at the Painter’s Hall. She vowed to protect unions from Republicans, and she promised to bring more jobs to Nevada. She urged them to get out and vote for her during the state’s caucuses, which will be held on February 20th. Clinton urged her supporters to spread the word in the state saying, “I want you to explain that we’re going to have new jobs in infrastructure and manufacturing and clean, renewable energy. We’re going to put people to work across America again, and we’re going to see incomes going up just like we did in the 90s.” A video of Clinton’s speech is below.
Saturday evening, Clinton and Democratic rival Bernie Sanders spoke at the Colorado Democratic Party’s annual dinner in Denver. Clinton spoke about her presidential platform, but took time to criticize Senate Republicans for vowing to block any Supreme Court nominee presented by President Barack Obama. Following the death of Justice Antonin Scalia on Saturday, Republicans have vowed to block any nominees until the next president takes office. The longest Supreme Court nomination process lasted 100 days and there are 340 days until January 21, 2017. Clinton said that such action would violate the Constitutional duty of the Senate. Clinton said, “I know that our thoughts and prayers are with the Scalia family tonight and I am also thinking and praying for the future of our country. It is outrageous that Republicans in the Senate and on the campaign trail have already pledged to block any replacement that President Obama nominates.” A video of her speech is below.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Bill and Chelsea Clinton continued to campaign on behalf of Hillary Clinton. Wednesday, Bill was in New Hampshire for two events. The first was a gathering with volunteers in Salem. His second event of the day was in Concord where he spoke at a rally. He asked those in attendance at both events to support Hillary in the tight race between her and Bernie Sanders. Bill touted Hillary’s experience and the fact that she is a “change maker.” He admitted that he always knew she would have a tough time in New Hampshire saying, “We’re fighting it out in Iowa. We’ve got a little lead that I think is solidifying and maybe growing a little bit. We’re on a home-field disadvantage here. But the real issue is, who can win the election, who’s prepared the do the job, who can make real change?” A video from the Salem event is below.
Today, both Bill and Chelsea were scheduled to attend fundraisers. Bill was in Denver, Colorado for a fundraiser at the home of Cindy and Steve Farber. Chelsea, meanwhile, attended a fundraiser in support of the Clinton Foundation Haiti Relief Fund at the TriBeCA SoulCycle studio. The proceeds from that event were not for Hillary for America.

On Tuesday, Hillary Rodham Clinton held a rally at Boulder Theater in Boudler, Colorado where she largely focused on domestic policy issues. After being joined on stage by Senator Mark Udall, she outlined a number of important points to her platform including: renewable energy, gun control, and whether the United States should accept Syrian refugees. Clinton then traveled to Denver where she held another rally at Manual High School. In a speech similar to the one in Boudler, her message was, again, focused on domestic policies. In particular she highlighted gender inequality and equal pay saying, “If standing up for equal pay for equal work is dealing the gender card, then deal me in.” A video from the Denver rally will be posted when/if available.
While in Colorado, Clinton attended a private fundraiser hosted by Jennifer and Mo Siegel. As with all private events, the fundraiser was closed to the press.

Today, Hillary Rodham Clinton attended three fundraisers and an organizing event. The fundraisers were all private and closed the press, but we do know that two took place in the Denver area and one in Aspen. Colorado is fast becoming an important state in the 2016 primary and today’s trip marked Clinton’s first visit to the state since announcing her candidacy for president in April.
This evening, Clinton attended a “Commit to Vote” event in Denver. During her speech, she went on the offensive attacking Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush for attacking women’s health funding and Planned Parenthood. She said, “The Bush campaign claims that what Jeb Bush meant to say is we should just de-fund Planned Parenthood, as if that makes it any better. Where women go for cancer screenings and all kinds of other preventive health measures.”
