Hillary Rodham Clinton spoke on the campus of the University of Buffalo about the need for Washington to find common ground and to stop bringing the country to a halt when Republicans and Democrats disagree. “I’m hoping we will … move away from the slash and burn politics, the name calling, the excessive partisanship that we’ve seen too much of lately,” she said.

During the speech, Clinton is heckled, but she turned the tables on the heckler to make her point that political leaders need to find common ground. She spoke for about half an hour then spent the rest of the session answering questions from audience members.
