Hillary Clinton Campaigns in Ohio, New Hampshire

Hillary Clinton began the final Sunday before the election in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she spoke at Sunday morning church services at Mt. Airy Church of God in Christ. She urged members of the congregation to get out and vote on Tuesday and presented her optimistic vision for America.

Clinton then held a get out the vote event in Cleveland, Ohio where she appeared with NBA star LeBron James. James introduced Clinton and spoke about his support of Clinton and his foundation which helps inner city kids get ahead. When Clinton began her speech, she praised James for his work with children saying that he does a great job of “using the national platform he earned to advocate for children.” Clinton then spoke about a number of her platform points including expanding early childhood education, creating new jobs, raising the minimum wage, and rebuilding the middle class. She stressed her focus on the middle class saying that we need to “grow our economy from the middle out…not from the top down…” Clinton said that all this can be accomplished without raising taxes on families making less than $250,000 per year. She concluded by urging everyone to consider the future of the country before voting on Tuesday and to ensure that their voice is heard. A video from the event is below.

Clinton then spoke at a get out the vote rally in Manchester, New Hampshire. After being introduced by Khizr Khan, Clinton made her final case for before Tuesday’s election. She spoke about the key points to her platform and her optimistic vision for the future of America. She contrasted that vision with the negative and divisive vision presented by Trump. She concluded her speech by asking everyone to consider the future of our country and vote for her on Tuesday. Watch a video from the event below.

Senator Sanders Campaigns for Hillary in the West

Senator Bernie Sanders campaigned on behalf of Hillary Clinton in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday. Speaking at Central High School, Sanders spoke about the future of the United States and why Clinton is the better choice for that future. He outlined a number of Clinton’s platform points such as raising the minimum wage, overturning the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling, and combating climate change. He contrasted Clinton’s plans with proposals made by Donald Trump saying there was no contest. He urged everyone to get out and vote on Tuesday saying, “What we have to talk about is that in two days, there will be the most consequential election in the modern history of the United States. And my hope is that all of you will do everything possible in the next two days — not only voting, bringing out your friends and your relatives and your co-workers — to make sure that Donald Trump is not elected president.” A video of his speech is below.

Sanders then spoke at a get out the vote rally on the campus of College of Southern Nevada’s Cheyenne Campus in Las Vegas. Sanders spoke about the progressive Democratic Party platform and Clinton’s dedication to enact campaign finance reform, reforming the criminal justice system, raising the minimum wage, and making college more affordable. Sanders has had a hand in several of Clinton’s platform points, including her college affordability plan. Sanders also criticized Trump for for his divisive comments about women, immigrants, and Muslims. He urged everyone to consider the country’s future and get out and vote on Tuesday. Jay-Z and Beyoncé Speak at Get Out the Vote Concert in Cleveland

On Friday, Jay-Z performed at a Get Out the Vote concert in Cleveland, Ohio on behalf of Hillary Clinton. During the concert, he was joined on stage by his wife, Beyoncé, and Clinton. Beyoncé spoke about the importance of the election and said that she wants her daughter to have a role model in the White House. “We have to think about the future of our daughters, of our sons, and vote for someone who cares for them as much as we do. And that is why, ‘I’m with her.'” Jay-Z introduced Clinton and spoke about the progress made in the country and criticized Donald Trump for his divisive tone. Hillary Clinton Campaigns in Pittsburgh and Detroit

On Friday, Hillary Clinton campaigned in two battleground states with her first event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Clinton was joined by former Steelers football players Franco Harris and Mel Blount, singer Donnie Iris, and Mark Cuban. Cuban introduced Clinton and attacked Donald Trump saying that “we cannot put our trust in Trump.” Clinton then spoke about a number of her campaign platform points and focused on her plans to create jobs by investing in infrastructure and American manufacturing. She said that as president, she would lead by listening to people and finding common ground, something that she doubts Trump is capable of. Clinton concluded by asking everyone to vote adding, “This is one of those make-or-break moments for the United States. Clinton then traveled to Detroit, Michigan where she asked everyone to consider what kind of future we want for our country and our children. Do we want Trump’s divisive vision that brings back failed policies? Or would we rather plan for the country’s future by working together and creating an economy for the 21st century that benefit everyone? She outlined a number of her plans, but said that none of it will be possible if Trump is elected. Clinton urged everyone to get out and vote saying, “You have to vote. Our progress is on the line. Bill Clinton Campaigns for Hillary in Colorado

Bill Clinton campaigned for Hillary Clinton today in Colorado. At his first event, Bill spoke to a group of supporters at Union Depot in Pueblo. He outlined key points of Hillary’s platform including her plans to create jobs and build and economy that works for everyone. Throughout his speech, Bill referred to Donald Trump, but never mentioned him by name. He criticized his temperament and lack of experience. He concluded the event by asking everyone to vote for Clinton on Tuesday saying, “If the people vote, she’ll win. I believe she’ll be the first woman president but even those things are not as important as what it will mean for you.”

He then spoke at the EXDO Event Center in Denver where he covered a number of the same topics as in Pueblo including her plans to make college more affordable and pass comprehensive immigration reform. The focus of Bill’s speech was about the type of America we want to build for future generations. Do we want a president who looks to the past or one who plans for the future. “This is a change election — I do agree with her opponent on that. The question is: Are you going to change forward, to build on what we are doing right?  … Or are you going to change backward and go back to trickle down economics on steroids?,” he said. He concluded by asking everyone to get out and vote on Tuesday.

At his final stop of the day in Fort Collins, Bill focused on unity and how Hillary’s plans ensure that Americans are united in enjoying the prosperity offered in the United States. Unlike her opponent who is focused on dividing people to gain votes, Bill argued that Hillary aims to create a stronger and more united country. He urged everyone to vote for Hillary on Tuesday saying, “We’re the longest-lasting democracy in human history and that’s for a reason: We keep making progress toward our more perfect union.” Videos from today’s events will be added when/if available.

Chelsea Clinton Campaigns in New Hampshire

On Friday, Chelsea Clinton campaigned for her mother at events in Keene and Hanover, New Hampshire. At each event, Chelsea spoke about her mother and how she has spent her entire life focusing on bettering the lives of women, children, and families across the country and around the world. She said that Hillary Clinton’s platform is more comprehensive and more inclusive than plans proposed by Donald Trump. Chelsea urged everyone to get out and vote saying, “For me, this election is first and foremost about my children and about the country, the world, and the future that I want for them and their generation to grow up in.” A video from the event in Keene is below.

Senator Sanders Campaigns for Hillary in Ohio

Senator Bernie Sanders campaigned on behalf of Hillary Clinton in Ohio today. Sanders’ first event was on the campus of Youngstown State University. During his speech, he focused on Hillary Clinton’s plans to build the middle class by introducing plans to create jobs and raise the minimum wage. He said, “Middle class shrinking, millions living in dire poverty, the very, very rich getting richer. Large corporations enjoying huge profits. That is where we are today and what our job together is, to create an economy that works for all Americans, not just the billionaire class.” Sanders said that Clinton has a plan to ensure the economy works for everyone while Donald Trump wants to ensure that he and other billionaires have free reign. In Cincinnati, Sanders spoke to a crowd of supporters at the University of Cincinnati. He focused on the same populist platform points that gained him popularity including income inequality, raising the minimum wage, overturning Citizens United, making college more affordable, and combating climate change. Sanders said that Clinton has plans that address all those points, including some plans that he had a hand in crafting. He concluded by asking everyone to vote and challenged them to stay involved in politics after the election saying, “After we elect Hillary on Nov. 8, I want you to wake up on Nov. 9, roll up your sleeves and begin the process of taking on the billionaire class and transforming this country.” A video from the event is below.

President Obama Campaigns for Hillary in Ohio

President Barack Obama returned to Ohio Tuesday for a campaign event in Columbus. During the event, Obama spoke about what is at stake in this election saying that “this week will decide the future of this country we love.” Obama spoke about a number of Hillary Clinton’s platform points and how they will be beneficial to Ohioans and Americans across the country. He contrasted Clinton’s plans to those proposed by Donald Trump and attacked him for his divisive comments and his statements about women saying, “If you disrespected women before you were elected, you will disrespect women once you’re president.” Obama went on to say that Clinton is the best person for the job. “Hillary Clinton is consistently treated differently than just about any other candidate I’m seeing out there. Has she made mistakes? Of course. So have I. But she is a fundamentally good and decent person who knows what she’s doing and would be an outstanding president,” he said. Bill Clinton Stresses Early Voting in Pennsylvania

Bill Clinton returned to Pennsylvania where he spoke at a series of event focused on early voting. At his first stop in Aliquippa, he spoke about a number of Hillary Clinton’s platform points including her plans to grow the economy and create new jobs. Bill spoke about a number of ways Hillary would create jobs including investing in infrastructure, focusing on growth in the manufacturing sector, and investing in clean energy. He admitted that there have been parts of the country left behind, and Hillary will focus on ensuring everyone has an equal opportunity. He concluded by encouraging everyone to vote on November 8th or to take advantage of early voting. A partial video from the event is below.

Bill then traveled to Duncansville where he continued to speak his wife’s blueprint for America and how her vision is starkly different from that of Republican Donald Trump’s. He spoke about a number of Hillary’s primary areas of focus including health care, making college affordable, and investing in rural communities. “Of all the federal development money for economics, should be devoted exclusively to small towns, rural areas, from Coal Country, to Indian Country to places in rural Pennsylvania, rural Arkansas, where nothing good has happened in a long time,” he said. Chelsea Clinton Touts Early Voting in Ohio

Chelsea Clinton returned to Ohio on Wednesday for three events in which she encouraged early voting. At events in Cincinnati, Grove City, and Solon, Chelsea spoke about a number of Hillary Clinton’s platform points including her plans to raise the minimum wage, ensure equal pay for women, expand early childhood education, and make college more affordable. Chelsea said that it is really important to elect Hillary over Donald Trump because a lot of progress has been made and undoing it would be harmful for Americans. “Everything I care most about, and everything you probably care most about, is at stake in this election. The progress President (Barack) Obama has made — that I think gets far too little credit — the opportunities for further progress is at stake in this election and our core values as a country are at stake in this election,” she said.
