Ready for Hillary PAC gets a Refresh

Screen Shot 2014-03-11 at 7.14.52 PM

The Ready for Hillary PAC has revamped its website as it prepares for Clinton to make her decision about running for president in 2016. The PAC was formed in January 2013 as she was leaving the State Department. The goal was to raise money to prepare for a possible 2016 run, and to show Clinton that a support base exists for her 2016 run.

After a year, Ready for Hillary announced that they raised $4 million in its first year. Beginning its second year, the PAC has redesigned its website and is continuing to build a grassroots donor base. We urge everyone who supports a 2016 run by Clinton to Support Ready for Hillary by donating or shopping in their store. You can also pledge to support Clinton’s presidential run and request a FREE “Ready for Hillary” bumper sticker. On the social media front, you may follow the PAC on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.

Hillary Clinton in Canada

Wednesday, March 5, 2014 (Vancouver, Canada)

Thursday, March 6, 2014 (Calgary, Canada)

In a set of twin speeches in Canada, Hillary Rodham Clinton discussed a number of issues for the United States, Canada, and the ongoing tensions between Russian and Ukraine. Speaking as part of the Global Perspectives series, Clinton was asked a number of questions, but the most important question to many was about the controversial Keystone Pipeline. The Pipeline is unpopular in the United States among environmentalists, but it is very important to Canada in transporting Canadian oil. She avoided questions about the pipeline by acknowledging that she had worked with the project as Secretary of State, but went to say that she, “Can’t comment any further on that because it is still an ongoing process.”

Videos for either of speeches are not currently available but will be posted when they are.

Hillary Rodham Clinton gave a speech at the Boys and Girls Club Corporate Luncheon in California. During the speech, Clinton made her first public comments about the tensions between Russia and Ukraine. Clinton drew fire for comparing Putin’s tactics to that of Hitler’s during World War II. Clinton went on to discuss her experience with Russia and the issues in that region.
