At a rally in Cleveland, Ohio today, Hillary Clinton spoke to a crowd of supporters at John Marshall High School. Clinton spoke about her economic plan, and more specifically, her plan to invest in manufacturing, clean energy, and infrastructure creating millions of jobs across the country. Clinton said that independent analysts have predicted that her plan would create 376,000 job in Ohio alone. She said that one of her primary objectives would be building upon the economy saying, “We’ve got to get the economy working for everyone. Not just those at the top.”
Clinton then went after Donald Trump saying that his economic plan would benefit him and others in the top income brackets. She said that if Trump is worth $10 billion, as he claims, his family’s tax break would net $4 billion. She then outlined how she could better spend that $4 billion on other projects including increasing funding for early childhood programs, provide additional heath care to veterans, provide free community college, expand broadband internet across the country, or fund state and local law enforcement. Hillary Clinton continued to talk about her plans to boost job creation and manufacturing during a stop in Colorado on Wednesday. Her first stop in the state was a local company in Denver called Knotty Tie Company. She toured the facility and spoke with several employees. She also addressed a gathering of the company’s employees and members of the press. During her remarks, she criticized Donald Trump for his double standard when it comes to American manufacturing. She pointed out that while he touts his “Made in America” plan while products bearing his name are made in China. Holding one of Trump’s ties in her hand, she said, “I really would like him to explain why he paid Chinese workers to make Trump ties.” A video of her brief remarks is below.
Clinton then went to Commerce City where she spoke to a crowd where she spoke about a number of key platform points. She spent the majority of her speech talking about manufacturing, jobs, and investing in education. Referring to her jobs and infrastructure plans, she said that she is calling for the largest mobilization of workers and government spending on infrastructure since World War II. Clinton said that while a big part of her infrastructure plan focuses on the country’s aging roads and bridges, a significant portion the plan would ensure access to broadband internet, especially in rural areas. On Tuesday, Hillary Clinton addressed the National Education Association’s Representative Assembly in Washington, DC. Clinton was officially endorsed by the group in October, and she assured its members that she will support strengthening education as president. Clinton said that a number of her plans in her agenda would greatly benefits schools, especially improved infrastructure and increased access to broadband internet. She vowed to always include K-12 educators in the policy-making process saying, “If I am fortunate enough to be elected president, educators will have a partner in the White House, and you’ll always have a seat at the table. I have this old-fashioned idea that when we are making decisions about education, we actually should listen to our educators.” A video from the event is below.
On Wednesday, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) endorsed Hillary Clinton for President of the United States. In a statement, IBEW President Lonnie R. Stephenson said the union supports Clinton because of her commitment to labor. “Secretary Clinton has vowed to invest in our industrial and energy infrastructure and push for stronger enforcement of labor law, including cracking down on wage theft that is all too common in the construction industry.” Clinton issued a statement saying that she is honored to receive the group’s endorsement and that she will continue to fight for labor rights. Hillary Clinton campaigned in California on Wednesday. Her first event was held in Buena Park where she addressed a crowd of supporters at UFCW Union Local 324. After being introduced by actress Jamie Lee Curtis, Clinton spoke about the importance of unity and how she is direct opposition to Republican nominee Donald Trump’s tenancy to divide people. She, again, spoke about the benefit of building bridges instead of walls when working out national issues. She said, “He is scapegoating everyone. That’s good for reality TV. But you’ve got to work with people.” She went on to speak about a number of her platform points including continuing to work to improve health care and bringing down the cost of higher education before asking for voters’ support on June 7.
Clinton also outlined her proposal to rebuild the nations infrastructure. She vowed to implement the plan during her first 100 days in office. The plan includes provisions that will:
Deliver the most significant increase in infrastructure investment since President Eisenhower built the Interstate Highway System
Connect every household in America to affordable broadband and lead the world into next-generation wireless
Develop transportation technology of tomorrow

Eliminate the chose points of commerce
Revitalize public schools in every ZIP code and invest in communities being left out and left behind

Clinton then spoke at an organizing event in Salinas. Speaking at Hartnell College, she focused on working with Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform. She argued that the United States is better served welcoming immigrants than working to keep them out. Again, she attacked Trump for his plans to build a wall along the border between the United States and Mexico. Clinton did discuss a number of other platform points before asking for voter’s support in the California primary.
Leading up to this weekend’s and next Tuesday’s primary races, Bill Clinton covered three states in two days campaigning for Hillary Clinton. On Thursday, Clinton spoke to supporters at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. During his remarks, he spoke about his wife’s experience and her plans to move the country forward. He said, “I think if the people of Mississippi stick with us, we’ll have some things we can really talk about.” Mississippi’s primary is on Tuesday.
On Thursday evening, Clinton spoke to a crowd in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he focused on Hillary’s experience and her plans for future. He focused on a number of platform topics including her plans for the economy, jobs, heath care, and addressing systemic racism. He asked supporters to get out and support her in Saturday’s Democratic primary race against Bernie Sanders. A video from the event is below.
On Friday, Clinton remained in Louisiana for an event in New Orleans. Speaking at the Ashe Power House Theater, Clinton spoke about Hillary as a change maker and someone who wants to keep America great. While he never mentioned Republican Donald Trump by name, Clinton took some shots at the front-runner. He also spoke about a number of Hillary’s key platform points, including reducing the cost of higher education, repairing infrastructure, fight the heroin epidemic, and pushing for equal pay for women.
Clinton then traveled to Nebraska where he spoke at the The Waiting Room nightclub in Omaha. During the event, he asked voters to support Hillary in this Saturday’s caucus. He also focused on a number of platform points, including higher education and student debt. He said, “What does she want to do about that? Make college tuition free in every public university in the country, in every historically black university and college in the country and every university that serves first and second generation Americans and other universities that are small with relatively modest tuition and high rates of return.”
Clinton’s final event of the day was a Get Out the Caucus event in Lincoln. At the Lincoln Station Great Hall, Mayor Chris Beutler endorsed Hillary before introducing Clinton. During his speech, Clinton spoke about the wage barriers that exist for too many American families and that Hillary has plans to help expand the middle class. He also spoke about her plans to improve the infrastructure and expand broadband internet. Clinton covered Hillary’s plans to expand background checks before buying a gun saying that the majority of gun owners support background checks. At the end of the speech, he asked voters to support Hillary in Saturday’s caucus saying, “If you want us to rise together…you should vote for the best change maker…vote for Hillary tomorrow.”
In Tampa, Florida tonight, Hillary For America hosted a town hall event on the American military and what can be done help service members and their families during and after their service. Attending the event was retired Brigadier General John Douglass, retired Rear Admiral Michael Smith (ret), Major General Rick Olson, and Jon Murray, National Director of Veterans and Military Families Outreach at Hillary for America.

On Monday, Hillary Clinton hosted a organizing event in Waterloo, Iowa where she received the endorsement of Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx. He introduced Clinton, praising her infrastructure proposal to fix roads, bridges, public transportation systems, water systems, and increase broadband Internet. Of Clinton’s diverse background and experience, he said, “It’s not just something she read in a book. It’s something she has done.”
Clinton then spoke, unveiling a proposed 4% tax on individuals making more than $5 million per year. The plan would raise approximately $150 billion over ten years, and would only affect .02% of taxpayers. The plan, dubbed the “Fair Share Surcharge” is in addition to following the Buffett Rule for taxing those who make over $250,000 a year. Clinton pledged again that she would not raise taxes on those making less than $250,000, something that her Democratic primary rival Bernie Sanders can not pledge to. On Friday, Hillary Clinton held an event in Sioux City, Iowa in which she focused on her infrastructure plans. Speaking at the Carpenters Local 948 Training Center, Clinton said her plan would focus on airports, sea ports, broadband internet, and highways and would create thousands pf jobs across the country. Of our current infrastructure, she said, “The infrastructure is old, it is broken down. My image is, it is held together with duct tape.” Before her speech, Clinton was introduced and endorsed by U.S. Secretary of Labor Tom Perez. Today, Hillary Rodham Clinton returned to Ankeny, Iowa to discuss her plan to support rural, agricultural America. After being introduced by U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack at the Des Moines Area Community College, Clinton unveiled her plan that includes investments in rural areas including focusing on rural transportation, streamlining the process for community banks, investment in water and broadband infrastructure, and improving Agriculture Department grant programs. Other facets of the plan includes raising the production of agricultural products and making the product more profitable for farmers, promoting a use of clean energy and renewable energy sources, and expanding opportunities for those in rural communities by expanding Head Start, affordable education, and affordable healthcare.

Following the event, Clinton answered questions from reporters where she discussed her use of a private email server during her tenure as Secretary of State. She expressed regret and said that she believes in transparency. She said, “I know people have raised questions about my email use as secretary of state, and I understand why. I get it. So here’s what I want the American people to know: My use of personal email was allowed by the State Department. It clearly wasn’t the best choice. I should’ve used two emails: one personal, one for work. I take responsibility for that decision, and I want to be as transparent as possible, which is why I turned over 55,000 pages, why I’ve turned over my server, why I’ve agreed to — in fact, been asking to — and have finally gotten a date to testify before a congressional committee in October. I’m confident that this process will prove that I never sent, nor received, any email that was marked classified.
