Kaine and Holton Campaign in North Carolina, Virginia

Tim Kaine and Anne Holton campaigned in North Carolina and Virginia on the final day of the campaign. Kaine and Holten began the day in North Carolina where they spoke at events in Charlotte and Wilmington. Kaine spoke about the importance of the election and the high stakes for the future of the country. He urged North Carolinians to get out and vote tomorrow because they are a key battleground state in this election. “Everybody’s watching you, North Carolina. If Hillary wins in North Carolina, take it to the bank, she’s president of the United States,” he said. Kaine urged everyone to consider the future and vote tomorrow. Kaine and Holton returned to Virginia where they held an event on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax. They were joined by Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden. The vice president spoke briefly introducing Kaine. When Kaine took the stage, he spoke about being back in Virginia and what is at stake in this election. He urged everyone to get out and vote tomorrow saying that he was proud of Virginia. “I like the energy I’m seeing in Virginia,” he said. A video from the event will be posted when/if available.

Kaine and Holton held their final event of the campaign in their hometown of Richmond. Kaine said that it was nice to be back in Virginia before asking everyone to get out and vote on Tuesday. Like Clinton, he spoke about the far reaching affects this election will have on the country’s future and urged everyone to consider the different visions of America presented by Trump and Clinton. Vice President Biden Campaigns in Florida on Eve of Election

On the eve of the election, Vice President Joe Biden returned to Florida where he spoke on the campus of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee. After being introduced by his wife, Jill, Biden spoke about the importance of voting before the end of the day tomorrow. He urged everyone to consider the future the country and the visions being outlined by Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Biden said that Clinton offers a platform that is far more optimistic and inclusive. He said that her plans are geared toward helping everyone and not just those at the top. Biden urged everyone to reject the divisive policies of Trump and vote for Clinton tomorrow. A video from the event is below.

Biden held his last solo campaign event for Clinton in St. Petersburg. During the event, Biden spoke about the vision Trump has for America and asked the audience to imagine living in that future. “We don’t have to make anything up; we just have to say what they want to push,” he said adding that it is doubtful that a Trump administration would continue Pell grants for college, repealing the Affordable Care Act would leave at least 20 million Americans without coverage, and his economic plans would ensure that those at the top prosper at the expense of the middle class. Vice President Biden Campaigns in Harrisburg, Scranton

Vice President Joe Biden remained in Pennsylvania on Sunday where he campaigned for Hillary Clinton at two events. He began with a rally in Harrisburg where he spoke about the importance of not underestimating Donald Trump and getting out to vote on Tuesday. Biden said that that the best way to ensure that Clinton and other Democrats is elected is by voting and getting friends a family to vote as well. In Scranton, Biden spoke on the campus of Johnson College saying that he was happy to back in his hometown. During his speech, Biden outlined a number of Clinton’s key platform points saying that her optimistic and inclusive plan for the future is better than the divisive vision offered by Trump. He challenged Trump’s “make America great again” slogan saying, “We are already a great country. We went from crisis to recovery and now we are moving toward resurgence.” Biden warned that Trump will take the progress and throw it out the window if elected. Vice President Biden Rallies Voters in Pennsylvania

Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, campaigned on behalf of Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania on Saturday. Their first event was in West Mifflin where they spoke at a gathering of members of the local United Steelworkers association. Biden spoke about the importance of electing Clinton because of her support for labor unions and American families. He said that since this election is going to be close, it is important that everybody gets out and votes on Tuesday. He said, “If we win Pennsylvania, we win this election.” A video from the event is below.

The Bidens then traveled to Bristol where he spoke about the importance of the election and ensuring that Clinton is elected president and that down ballot Democrats are also elected to office. Biden spoke about a number of Clinton’s platform points including her plan to create jobs by investing in infrastructure and American manufacturing, two things he said would greatly benefit Pennsylvanians. Vice President Joe Biden Campaigns in Florida

Vice President Joe Biden returned to Florida where he attended two campaign events on behalf of Hillary Clinton and local Democrats. At his first stop in Tampa, Biden spoke about the importance of electing Clinton president and electing Democrats such as Patrick Murphy to the Senate. Biden spoke about a number of issues that Clinton will focus on as president such as creating jobs and growing the economy. He also went after Donald Trump saying, “This guy doesn’t deserve to be president. On his sixth bankruptcy he stiffed more workers than you can count and then on national television in a debate said ‘maybe I didn’t like the quality of the work.’ Well, Trump, maybe I don’t like the quality of what you say.” He urged everyone to get out and vote on November 8th and to take advantage of early voting. Biden then spoke at a rally in Palm Beach Gardens where he characterized Florida as a must win for Clinton. He said, “Here we go again. Florida. It always comes down to Florida. … We get it done here, we can go home to bed early Tuesday.” Speaking on the campus of Palm Beach State College, Biden spoke about the rising cost of college education and Clinton’s plan to make college more affordable for students and ensure that they graduate debt-free. On Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden campaigned for Hillary Clinton in Charlotte, North Carolina. During his speech, Biden spoke about the importance of North Carolina saying that winning the state is important to Clinton. He made the case for Clinton by outlining her populist agenda including her plans to raise the minimum wage, create more jobs, and invest in American manufacturing. Biden contrasted a number of Clinton’s proposals with those made by Donald Trump saying that he does not represent America or the Republican Party. Vice President Biden Campaigns for Hillary in Nevada

Vice President Joe Biden campaigned on behalf of Hillary Clinton and the Nevada Democratic Party today. His first event was a speech at the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters in Las Vegas. During his speech, Biden spoke about the importance of electing a president and Senator who are pro-union and labor. He said that Donald Trump is anti-union adding, “If (Democrats) don’t win the Senate and Hillary doesn’t win the presidency, you’ll be out of business.” Biden said that it is important that Nevadans vote for Clinton and U.S. Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto to ensure that the progress of the last eight years continues.

In Reno, Biden campaigned with Cortez Masto and encouraged everyone to vote for her and Clinton. He spoke about Clinton’s broad platform plans including her plans to create jobs, invest in infrastructure, and make college more affordable. He warned that if Democrats do not take back the Senate, it will be harder for Clinton to pass these initiatives aimed at helping middle class Americans. Vice President Biden Rallies Crowd in Pittsburgh

Vice President Joe Biden campaigned on behalf of Hillary Clinton in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Tuesday. During his speech at Chatham University, Biden spoke about the importance of the 2016 election and electing Clinton and other Democrats to office across the country and especially in the United States Senate. He spoke about Clinton’s blueprint for America and how it is starkly different from the vision presented by Republican Donald Trump. While Biden spent quite a bit of his speech criticizing Trump, he also expressed his optimism for America’s future. “I am more optimistic about the prospects for America today than I have ever been in my life. We are on the cusp of being able to do some things that we haven’t been able to do since World War II, if we just have some confidence in ourselves,” he said. Anne Holton and Jill Biden Campaign in Pennsylvania

Anne Holton and Jill Biden campaigned together in Pennsylvania. Speaking at events in Philadelphia and Pheonixville, Holton and Biden focused on the blueprint for America presented by Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine and how it stands in stark contrast from Donald Trump’s vision for America. Biden said that she is tired of Trump’s comments about women saying, “It sickens us. I’m not sure what to say to my daughters and granddaughters who ask, ‘Is this what politics has become?’ It’s hard to explain as a mother and grandmother.”

Holton explained what it has been like working with Clinton the last few months. She explained that she does not only support Clinton because of her party affiliation, but because she is truly knowledgeable about the issues. “I’ve loved getting to be with her on the campaign trail. She’s such a good listener. Yes, she’s a policy wonk. We all know that. She’s a very serious person. I want a serious person in the Oval Office. Her policies come from talking to people. I see the way she talks to the campaign bus driver and the factory line worker, asking about the work-family balance. She connects what she hears from them to inform her policy,” Holton said. Meanwhile, a series of fundraisers were held on behalf of Hillary for America. The first was held in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and featured a conversation with Laura Rosenberger, Foreign Policy Advisor. Actress Selma Hayek Pinault spoke at a fundraising event in Austin, Texas. In Massachusetts, former Congressman Barney Frank and Jimmy Tingle attended fundraising events in Newton and Jamaica Plain.

Anne Holton and Jill Biden Campaign for Hillary in North Carolina

On Saturday, the current Second Lady of the United States Jill Biden campaigned with the woman hoping to soon hold that title, Anne Holton. The pair attended events in North Carolina, and they began their day in Fayetteville. They spoke at Fayetteville Technical Community College about the importance of the election and, how as military moms, they both trust Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump. “I trust Hillary Clinton. She understands the importance of using our military power when it is needed – but only when it’s needed,” Holton said.

While in Fayeteville, they also attended a canvass kick-off event before heading to an early voting rally in Jacksonville. The two spoke about similar topics at each event and highlighted a number of Clinton’s key platform points. Their primary message, however, was about the importance of voting and ensuring that everyone has their say in this election. Speaking about the access to early voting in North Carolina, Holton said, “You have strong early voting laws in this state. You had to fight to get it.
