She began the day in Everett where she met with union worker at Boeing and addressed a crowd of supporters. Then, she met with local tribal leaders this afternoon in Puyallup. In Medina this evening, Clinton attended a private fundraiser at the home of Jeff and Susan Brotman. A video from her rally in Everett is below.

On Tuesday evening, Clinton held a rally with supporters in Seattle where she began by thanking the voters in Arizona for their support. Then, Clinton turned her attention to her Republican rivals and their campaign of fear. She criticized plans suggested by both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz to ban Muslims from entering the country and increasing surveillance on Muslims living in the country. She said, “It will not keep us safe. This is a time for America to lead, not cower.” She vowed to “take the fight” to ISIS but work with Muslims who want to defeat extremists. On Tuesday, Bill and Chelsea Clinton campaigned for Hillary Clinton on the West Coast. In Washington, Chelsea made two stops in Tacoma where she spoke about her mother’s experience and leadership. During her first stop at Bates Technical College, she also spoke about the progress made by President Barack Obama and how important it is for a Democrat to succeed him in the White House. At both events, she urged voters to support Hillary in Saturday’s caucus saying, “I’m going to keep talking to as many people as I can here in Washington in advance of Saturday, but really around the country about what’s at stake and why standing on the sidelines is just not an option.” Videos from today’s events will be added when/if available.

While in Washington, Chelsea attended a lunch fundraiser in Seattle. The event took place at the home of Linda Derschang and was hosted by Derschang, Makini Howell, Tamara Murphy and Linda Morton, Molly Moon Neitzel, Angela and Ethan Stowell, and Washington Entrepreneurs for Hillary.

Bill meanwhile attended two fundraisers in California. The first was in Santa Barbara and was hosed by Susan Rose and Allan Ghitterman. The second event of the day was La Cañada Flintridge. The fundraiser was hosted by Teena Hostovich and John J. Kennedy at the home of Hostovich and Doug Martinet. As with all private events, the fundraisers were closed to the press.

Following this morning’s terrorist attacks in Brussels, Belgium that left at least 30 dead and 230 more injured, Hillary Clinton released a statement assuring solidarity with the Belgians. ISIS has taken responsibility for the attack, and Clinton called for increased cooperation with our allies to “defeat terrorism and radical jihadism around the world.” Clinton’s full statement is below:

Terrorists have once again struck at the heart of Europe, but their campaign of hate and fear will not succeed. The people of Brussels, of Europe, and of the world will not be intimidated by these vicious killers. Today Americans stand in solidarity with our European allies. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those killed and wounded, and all the people of Belgium. These terrorists seek to undermine the democratic values that are the foundation of our alliance and our way of life, but they will never succeed. Today’s attacks will only strengthen our resolve to stand together as allies and defeat terrorism and radical jihadism around the world.
